Medius Overview

Patronus Labs offers an extensive line of PC based Digital Video and Network Video Hybrid recorders (more than 35 models). The Medius Series is available in a Tower or Rack/Pedestal chassis. Each Medius series server supports up to 64 channels of full motion video recording with perfectly synchronized audio. Designed with mission critical applications in mind, video data can be optionally synchronized to operational events to within .0001 sec. Medius supports analog and IP video enabling video sources to be in the same building or anywhere in the world. When 64 cameras are not enough simply add more recorders and seamlessly connect to dozens,
hundreds or thousands of cameras with our CONCERT™ Client software.

  • Standardized Programming
    PATRONUS LABORATORIES MEDUIS Series Hybrid DVR/NVR systems, no matter the enclosure or number
    of channels all utilize the same Concert software. A True Hybrid DVR / NVR solution with 1 to 64 Audio/Video Channels, comprising of 4 to 64 analog audio/video channels and/or up to 32 IP channels
  • Standardized Compression
    All PATRONUS LABORATORIES systems support industry leading H.264 compression.
  • Full Motion Recording
    Each channel can record between 1/16th - 30 frames per second per channel (up to 1920fps in 64 channel systems)
  • Remote Software
    All PATRONUS LABORATORIES encoding and recording systems (over 60) share a common PC Based remote client software enabling unlimited expandability, with easy to learn and use Hybrid DVR/NVR Server Software.
  • Multiple Record Modes
    The MEDIUS Series supports multiple record modes including: schedule recording, manual recording, motion detection recording, external alarm recording, motion & alarm recording and motion or alarm recording.
  • Multiple PTZ Protocol Support
    The MEDUIS Series supports over 18 different PTZ Camera protocols.
  • Notification Methods
    Operators and administrators can be notified of events in multiple ways. The Concert software can automatically send E-mail/SMS on alarm, E-mail with attached images, play audio files, pop-up video on alarm (local or remote), trigger external relays connected to any device (lights, sirens, etc).
  • Third party Interfaces
    The Concert software can interface with several POS systems and Access Control systems.
  • Video Matrix
    Optional Video Matrix Analog wall supported up to 20 monitors.
